Light Weights

Break out your light weights and start lifting!  Lifting weights is excellent for your physique.  Reduce your risk of osteoporosis and keep your bones strong in the process.  Tighten, tone, and enhance your muscles.  

Rebounding

Jumping on a mini trampoline is phenomenal for your lymphatic system!  Just 15 minutes a day will tighten, tone, and strengthen your muscles.  This is a low impact exercise, easy on your joints and a great way to detox.  

Walking

Go for a walk.  Walking is fantastic for blood circulation.  It's a low impact exercise, easy on your joints, and a great way to start your morning.  Walking outside is always best, small hills, birds singing, and scenery, what could be better?  Try signing up for your communities local fun walks.   

Yard Work

Get outside and work!  Nothing better than getting grounded, breathing fresh air, absorbing Vitamin D, and getting  your chores done.  

Bicycling

When the weather is right, biking outdoors is a very peaceful and beneficial exercise.  Fresh air, sunshine, and quiet time, are all great stress relievers. 

Fun Runs & 5K's

Register for your town's 5K's and Fun Runs.  Most likely you'll be supporting a good cause and getting in shape at the same time.

Sign up for a class at your local gym, or see what classes are going on in your community.  It's a great way to meet new friends and try something new!

Try a Crossfit class!  Be mindful of your limitations and scale down exercises to meet your needs. CrossFit can be a fun way to get fit with a teamwork effort!

H.I.I.T

H.I.I.T

Try a high intensity interval training workout with a pal!  Whatever exercise you do, do it at a high intensity! For example run for 30 seconds as fast as you can and then rest for 90 seconds.  Do it for 15 minutes a day! 

An active body is a healthy body!
